Well, I am a little late announcing it, but it's that time again! It's International Comment Leaving Week, and since I am addicted to comments, of course I have signed up. But, alas, I signed up right in the middle of the sign up period...making me #66 out of 192, which basically means I won't really have many people dropping in. Or I assume I wont. Maybe hordes of commenters start with number #65 or something. We shall see.
Anyway, for those of you dropping in from ICLW, you can see our TTC Time Line Here. The short version is that I have stage IV endo, and after trying on our own for about a year we started fertility treatments. Three failed IUI's and one successful IVF later we have our perfect son, Henry. We are now gearing up for baby #2!
To update you on our current cycle, that also seems to be a little late. I took at test on cycle day 22 this month, and it was negative. It is now cycle day 32, and there is no hint of starting in sight. OF COURSE I have taken another test, on cycle day 30, it was still absolutely negative. Not even a shadow of a line. So we are just waiting around for the next cycle to officially start. Gotta love infertility.
*If you are interested, there is also a new post up over at my sisters new blog, Kicking Cancer**
I'll leave you a comment :-)
ReplyDeleteSorry about the negatives, those are never welcome, but here's hoping the BFP is around the corner!
Sorry about the neg. cycle...I still ALWAYS hope...
ReplyDeleteAwesome blog for your sister!
PS--how was Harry Potter? No spoilers, of course--but was it good?
Sorry that you have to see more single pink lines. Here's hoping there's not too many more of those.
ReplyDeleteKeeping your sister in my thoughts...
Here from ICLW :) I'm number 58, and I signed up right away to try and be at the top, but I guess a bunch of other people had similar ideas! I find that even if people aren't coming from the list, all the commenting I'm doing has been getting a share of return comments. Congratulations on your baby! Sending prayers to you and your family along with sticky baby dust for your next cycle.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your story. I am meeting with my RE this week to discuss a lap, which I will push for being sometime the first few weeks of January. It makes me hopeful to know that even with stage IV endo you were able to conceive. I have suspected I had endo since I was 16, but my family doc always blew me off about it. Now my RE says I am a "classic case" - go figure! Happy ICLW!
ReplyDeleteHere for ICLW and leaving you a comment too! Hoping those BFN just mean a late implanter and turn into a BFP for you. Also wishing your sister luck in her fight!
