I can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that this is his FIFTH tball season (counting spring and fall ball).
And equally shocking, is that this will be the end to his tball career. His senior season, if you will.
And he is taking it pretty serious. I mean, he still doesn't love to practice at home, but he seems to accept it is a requirement for the TEAM LEADERS. You know, the six year olds.
I always sorta forget how crazy our life gets around tball until I get the schedule. There is no denying it takes time and a solid commitment to be on this team, even at the six year old level. But man, it was so great to be back at the ball park. To see the familiar faces of the other returning players and their families. To laugh a little at the shocked look on some of the new parent's faces when we try to describe what a season is like at this park. It's sometimes a little crazy, but man, it sure is fun.
